Explanation of Worship Services

9:00 a.m. Praise Service A contemporary worship service including praise songs, informal sharing, a teaching sermon, and various styles of contemporary music and praise.

11:00 a.m. Worship. Traditional worship service in the sanctuary featuring the chancel choir, organ and hymns.  The same sermon is preached during both services.

• Children's Times are included in both services during the School year.   Junior Church included during both services during the School year.  Nursery care is provided for all worship services.
• Communion Sundays, usually the first Sunday of every month, the Lord's Supper is served at both services and to homebound members.
• Special services are held during the course of the year. Worship opportunities are available during special times and holidays:  Ash Wednesday Service, Maundy Thursday Service, Good Friday Service, Easter Services, Youth-Led Services and Christmas Eve Services, as well as special combined services during the Lenten season.  Watch the Sunday bulletin and the Messenger for times and dates.
• Lay volunteers serve as Junior Church leaders, ushers, and PA system operators.  3rd, 4th, and 5th graders serve as acolytes.
